XPJ800 is designed for penicillin fermentation industry. It is a mature, cheap and competitive polyether defoamer. Due to the use of special demetallization and salt ion refining process, it has lower pHysiological toxicity than similar products, and has the advantages of saving consumption compared with common polyether defoamer. The products are mainly used for defoaming of penicillin, tetracycline, chlortetracycline, lincomycin, erythromycin, neomycin, rifampin and other microbial fermentation processes.

In most microbial fermentation, foams form in the culture medium under aeration due to the presence of protein-based surfactants.
