XPJ800 Polypropylene Glycol PPG Defoamer
Product Introduction
XPJ800 is designed for penicillin fermentation industry. It is a mature, cheap and competitive polyether defoamer. Due to the use of special demetallization and salt ion refining process, it has lower pHysiological toxicity than similar products, and has the advantages of saving consumption compared with common polyether defoamer. The products are mainly used for defoaming of penicillin, tetracycline, chlortetracycline, lincomycin, erythromycin, neomycin, rifampin and other microbial fermentation processes.
Our defoaming agent can save more than ordinary defoaming agent, restrain foam well in the whole microbial fermentation process, improve the output value, and thus increase the economic benefit.

Usage Method
Combined with the basic material into disinfection, can also be divided into the tank at the later stage, the general use of 0.3-0.5‰ can meet the requirements of the whole fermentation cycle of defoaming.
Packing & Storage
This product is packed in 200KG galvanized iron drum, effective within two years for storage and transportation of non-hazardous chemicals at normal temperature, and stored indoors.
The Role Of Defoamer In Microbial Fermentation Process
In most microbial fermentation, foams form in the culture medium under aeration due to the presence of protein-based surfactants. There are two types of foam formed: one is the foam on the surface of the fermentation liquid, and the other is the foam in the fermentation liquid. Foaming can bring many disadvantages, such as the reduction of fermentation tank charge coefficient, oxygen transfer system, etc. So foam control is the basic condition to ensure normal fermentation. Our antifoam agent can well reduce the mechanical strength of the liquid foam film or reduce the surface viscosity of the liquid film, so as to achieve the purpose of bubble bursting.
